Okay, so I’m a little late with these. I think this was the first year Erin got a grasp of the whole Christmas phenomena. She participated in our church’s Christmas play and couldn’t wait until Santa brought her presents on Christmas morning. Santa was good to her this year, but lagged considerably behind the Grandparents. At 10 months old, Colin didn’t quite understand what all the fuss was about, but loved the wrapping paper. He wasn’t into unwrapping as much as Erin, but couldn’t put enough of it in his mouth. Christmas wrapping paper must taste much better than your everyday, run-of-the-mill paper. Erin’s Christmas Play

Erin and her cousins (Emily and Andrea) participated in our church’s Christmas Play. Erin was very excited to “get on the stage,” but quickly fizzled after being up there for about 5 minutes. The best part was when she whispered to Mommy and Daddy during the play that she “had to go poop.” Ahh… the memories that we will cherish. A few more pics and a video after the jump…

Erin had her first on-stage performance (well, group performance), during the culmination of her week-long vacation bible school. She couldn’t wait to get on that stage. I’m sure she picked up her timidness from me. Pics and a short video after the jump…
Club Placeway 2008

Club Placeway, July 4th edition, was another success. The weather was excellent (especially since the last two years it had rained). The kids seemed to enjoy themselves. No one was hurt, which is always a plus. Thanks to everyone who stopped by.

Ballwin Days

We met with the Mohn’s for Ballwin’s annual parade. Erin had a great time and this was Colin’s first parade. Erin loves those fire trucks. Silly hose draggers! More pics after the jump…
Easter Egg Hunt

It’s hard to believe that Easter is right around the corner. It’s been a pretty brutal winter this year and we’re all ready for the spring. Erin met up with her cousins for an Easter Egg hunt sponsored by a local news station. Colin hung out with Gma in the warmth while the rest of us headed out to hunt eggs. Pics after the jump…
