Flooding in Fenton

We’ve been getting some massive flooding around here; the most since the flood of 1982. The flood in 1993 mainly affected the Mississippi, but for some reason the Mermac river, which passes through our town of Fenton, swelled to over twice its flood stage this time. The photo above is of an intersection that we pass through almost daily. We just had to run down there and document it. A few more pics after the jump…
